Higher education shouldn't
depend on
As per available statistics, barely 3–4% of students in the M-East Ward continue their education beyond Class 10.
While many organisations focus on schooling, college-going students and competitive-exam aspirants often receive little support.
For many young people, this gap meant giving up on higher education before their journey had even truly begun.

The Beginning
DBM India partnered with TISS and BMC to establish a Library-cum-Study Centre in Deonar.

Empower Library
Building on earlier success, DBM India established its own Empower Library cum Study Centre in Deonar.
A space built for bigger dreams

Moving Closer
Recognising greater need elsewhere, the centre was relocated to Mankhurd, closer to the communities DBM serves.
