DBM India's Vocational Training Programme bridges this gap by turning skills into opportunities and opportunities into livelihoods.
What began with small training batches in 2009 has grown into a comprehensive skill development ecosystem across Mumbai and Pune, supporting youth and women with practical, market-relevant training and pathways to employment.
DBM India provides industry-aligned vocational training designed around the needs of both learners and the evolving job market. Our programmes combine technical skills with soft skills, English communication, personality development, career guidance, mentorship and practical exposure, helping participants become confident and workplace-ready.
In employability-focused skills, learners also receive internship opportunities and placement support, with active engagement with employers to help them transition from training to employment.

A six-month job-oriented course combining three months of classroom training with three months of hospital-based internship, covering patient care, first aid, basic medical procedures and hospital support services. Offered in partnership with Tech Mahindra Foundation and aligned with NSDC standards, the programme prepares learners for roles in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.
In 2025–26, GDA recorded the highest enrolment and demand among DBM India’s job-relevant courses, with the Trombay Centre achieving a 93.9% placement rate. Graduates have been placed with leading healthcare institutions including HN Reliance Hospital, Lilawati Hospital, Nanavati hospital, KJ Somaya Hospital, Kokilben Dirhubhai Ambani Hospital, Wadia Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital, Care 24, and even many other home care jobs.
A six-month programme preparing learners for careers in preschools, daycare centres and early education institutions, conducted in partnership with Mukhtangan. The course combines classroom-based theory with practical internship training, covering child psychology, developmental milestones, curriculum planning, activity-based learning, storytelling, creative arts and classroom management.
Through hands-on experience with young children, learners develop the confidence and skills needed for the workplace. Upon completion, students receive placement opportunities as Pre-Primary Teachers in reputed schools and early learning institutions, including EuroKids International School, Aadani Foundation School, Poddar International School, Radiant Mind School, BMC Schools, Urmi Foundation, and more.
A job-oriented course preparing youth for opportunities in the logistics and warehousing sector. Offered at our Bhiwandi Centre in collaboration with Vashi Parivaar Foundation, the programme covers inventory management, supply chain basics, material handling, safety protocols and documentation.
With practical, industry-relevant training and dedicated placement support, the course helps young people build skills for stable careers in the growing logistics sector. Graduates have secured employment with organisations including Vashi Integrated Solution, Amazon E-commerce, Nykaa E-Retail, Panasonic and Mahanagar Gas, among others.
A job-oriented programme designed to build skills in customer service, communication, sales support, relationship management, call handling, grievance redressal and corporate etiquette. Through practical learning, students develop the confidence and workplace skills required for roles across the banking, insurance, customer service and other service sectors.
The course prepares learners to communicate effectively, handle customers professionally, and build strong foundations for a career in customer-facing roles. Students have received placements at companies including Altruist, HDB Finance, Pehel Foundation, Axis Bank, LIC Insurance,and many more.
A career-focused programme introducing learners to banking processes, financial products, insurance, documentation, customer onboarding and financial literacy. Offered in partnership with Kotak Education Foundation, the programme helps students develop the skills needed for customer service, back-office operations and sales support roles across the banking and financial services sector.
The programme opens pathways to employment with leading organisations, with graduates placed with institutions including ICICI Lombard, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and LIC Insurance, among others.
A job-oriented programme developing essential skills in computer applications, MS Office, data entry, communication, customer handling, problem-solving and basic IT support. The course prepares youth for office-based roles across BPOs, customer service, data processing and other service-sector organisations.
Through practical, workplace-focused training, learners build the technical and communication skills needed to enter the IT-enabled services sector. Graduates have found employment with organisations including TeamLease, Hindustan Unilever, Ebix Cash, Westside, Kalpvriksha among others.
Skill2Win is a workplace-readiness programme, delivered in association with training partner Kotak Education Foundation, designed to equip youth with essential skills for entering and succeeding in the workplace. The course focuses on communication, computer literacy, customer handling, professional etiquette and job readiness, helping learners build confidence and prepare for employment.
Conducted at the Chembur, Khar and Turbhe Centres, the programme has helped candidates move into roles across retail, hospitality, logistics and healthcare, with placements at organisations including CAMS, Wow! Momos, The Taj, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Muthoot Finance and Amigos, among others.
A job-oriented programme for students who have completed Class 10–12, preparing them for careers in the Retail and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industries. In partnership with Kotak Education Foundation, the course covers communication, English, life skills, digital literacy, customer service, retail operations, QSR practices and workplace readiness, along with professional grooming, teamwork and interview preparation.
Through practical activities, field visits, domain sessions and mock interviews, students build the confidence and professional skills needed to enter the workplace. Upon completion, learners receive placement support and opportunities across the retail and QSR sectors, with students placed with brands including Westside, Burger King, Subway and KFC, among others.
The programme provides practical training in stitching, garment construction, pattern making, machine handling, alterations and basic fashion design. With both Basic and Advanced levels, learners can build their skills progressively through hands-on practice.
The course prepares participants for opportunities in boutiques, apparel units and tailoring services, while also equipping them with the skills and confidence to start their own home-based tailoring business or pursue self-employment.
A women-centric livelihood programme covering skincare, haircare, makeup, beauty services and salon hygiene, with a strong focus on hands-on practical training. Learners develop the technical skills, confidence and customer-handling abilities needed to build a career in the beauty and wellness sector.
Upon completion, graduates can explore employment opportunities with established beauty parlours and service platforms such as Enrich and Urban Company, pursue freelance work, or use their skills to start their own home-based or independent beauty business.
A range of practical digital and technical courses designed to build the computer literacy and workplace skills needed in today’s increasingly digital environment. Learners gain hands-on experience in basic computer operations, internet and online communication, MS Office, Advanced Excel, Tally, digital documentation and graphic design.
From foundational digital literacy through MS-CIT to specialised skills in accounting, data management and creative design, these courses prepare learners for entry-level opportunities in administration, accounting support, office operations and other digital workplaces. DBM India centres are authorised partners of MKCL for MS-CIT and Klic Courses
The programmes are particularly valuable for first-generation learners, helping them build the confidence and digital competence needed to pursue further training, employment or self-employment.
DBM is also an official partner of CISCO to provide its IT, networking, and cybersecurity training courses.
